Panaya software for Navision

Hello Everyone, we are currently evaluating NAV17 upgrade to BC, I found that Panaya (on SAP projects) helped in the analysis and assessment process.

for my understanding Panaya is not supported by NAV. (https://www.panaya.com)

I am currently looking for a software to help internal assessment on our deeply customized NAV implementation.

Did anyone have experience with similar software?

    Hi, in Business Central, you can use Telemetry, CI/CD, performance profiler, etc to monitor your system and extensions.

    Hi Zhu, thank for this information, it will for sure come handy once on BC.

    The problem here is indeed that we still need to upgrade to BC and finding a tool to help in software assessment and impact analysis would be the key.

    Having done this for many years in NAV, we always just did a Code Compare. A partner developer needs to export the original base version objects to a text file and then your customized objects to a text file and then execute the code compare. We would always then put the differences into a definition of each mod so we could determine which things we no longer used, which ones are now handled out-of-the-box and which are customizations that we really need.

    You're partner can do this for you or you can take the two texts files and use Word to Compare.
