Account not found in BPF

Ai All,

I'm trying to create a business process flow that starts with a Lead continues with Opportunity and when the opportunity is closed as won to continue with a couple of stages in Account(Lead->Opportunity->Account). So I have created the stages and all goes fine up until the last stage in opportunity. Then it doesn't find the Account(No record found). Is there something I'm doing wrong? Is this caused by a missing or wrong relationship between account and opportunity?

Thank you

    Hi Bobby,

In multiple BPF, it only supported for 1:N relationship. That is the reason you can not see the Account from BPF when Opportunity is primary entity. If you want to do that, you should create 1 relationship 1:N from Opp to Account.

Thank you so much, I suspected that.

Is there any risk for the new relationship to affect in any way the current customization/ other relationships?

    Hi Bobby,

Creating more relationship is normal in MS CRM. It is fine if you control your business.

There is no risk for this case.

Thank you for that. Just checked and there's already a referential 1:N relationship between Opportunity and Account. Shouldn't that do the trick?

    Hi BobbyC,

Could you capture the image for this relationship.

    Hi Bobby,

As your image, it is a custom relationship. For default of system does not add 1:N for Opp and Account.

In this case, if you have not see Acc from Opp of BPF, please check again about your data. Maybe there are missing set opportunityid for Account.

I don't think I fully understand what you are suggesting. But just to show you that on Opportunity page I have the Company Name field which is a lookup field for the account and is populated. Is it something else then?

    Hi BobbyC,

As you image, you do not see any account because your Opportunity has been associated with account. You should use advance find to look for data to check again.

Or you can open entity form, add Account subgrid to opportunity for testing data.

Hi Pham, I have added the subgrid and is not displaying anything. Any suggestion?

    Thanks
