Strange issue with the output of a View

Hi everyone

I've created a View that shows me all the records that were Modified on 4th August 2022 (i.e.today) and prior as shown below:

This brings up several hundred records, including those that were modified on 4th August 2022.

However, what I really need is a View of those records that were modified ONLY on 4th August 2022. When I change the View criteria from Modified On / On or Before / 04/08/22 to Modified On / On / 04/08/22 I get no results.

Does anyone know why this might be?

I guess you want to get Contacts that were modified on the date not the Contact' Modified By(user) modified on the date? You added the "Modified On" condition in "Modified By", this will filter the User table's modified on field not the Contact.

Hey Jon!

I think there's an error on your query. I can see you're showing the "Modified by (user)" (related field) and then there's a subfield "Modified on". However, because the "modified on" is inside "modified by (user)", seems you're querying "when the user was modified" instead of "when the contact was modified".

The "modified on" should be on level up:

Hey Daniel & Roy

Thanks so much. I was confused as I couldn't see the correct Modified On when I created the View, and then realised that it was hidden from the search in the back-end.
