Hello,
Has anyone been able to update a purchase invoice from an API? I am trying to use the following documentation to do it but it keeps throwing a bad request error at mehttps://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics-nav/api-reference/v2.0/api/dynamics_purchaseinvoice_update
I am using the HTTP with Azure AD connector in flow using the "invoke a HTTP request" action.
TIA
Spencer
Hi,
Check whether there are unditable or flowfields in your json. You connot update those fields. And also for the option fields use format() function when you assign values.
Thanks.
Hi Chameera,
Thanks for the reply, but the fields are just date fields so are editable and I always use formatting with dates so it's not that.
Kind regards
Did you test with Postman and are there errors shows in that test as well?
I've not tested with postman due to the fact that the API needs a token for the authentication which can be annoying to get in postman but the Azure AD connector gives you this instantly. Instead I've created a simple flow that is manually triggered and just has the one action to update the purchase invoice.
Thanks
Okay, thank you. Postman can be helpful when troubleshooting issues like this one. Feel free to raise a support ticket if you do not get further tractions from the community.
