Account Name has ampersand symbol and duplicate detection rule combination unable to save account record

Hi,

Account Name has ampersand symbol and there is a duplicate detection rule on account name if it have same fix six characters it should pop up with duplicate detection screen. There is no Javascript on Form save.

When I am trying to update the record the page is freezing giving unresponsive message as shown below.

Please let me know if anyone has any idea regarding this issue.

That looks like a bug for me. You should get in touch with Microsoft and open a ticket to resolve your issue.
