I want to ask you about territory managment and how you have it implemented it in your CRM.
In my situation we have different BusinessUnits which represents different companies in our holding group. Under this business units we have many sales territories. At the moment we use business unit privileges on top of our security concept and sharings for Owner Teams which are named like the sales territories. So we have a segmentation between field service and other users. The field service users only can access records which are in their sales territories they are assigned to.
But with this design we have to many records in principle object acess table which worsens the performance of the whole CRM. So we are planning to redesign our security.
At this point it will be interessting how you have implemented sales territories in your security. Are you using sales territories and filter all views or can your users access all data in a business unit?
