Hi all,

was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to share what activities went in your past CRM Dynamics implementation project plans during the Analysis and Design phases? My project manager is a bit lost and I am struggling to explain and give proper names to the activities happening in these 2 phases.  

Anything you can send over would be much appreciated!!

    Hi, it purely depends on the nature of engagement. Below are some key pointers:

    Pre Analysis phase:

    --Project Charter

    --Project Plan

    --Risk and Issues Register

    Analysis and Design deliverable:  You can work backwards to define low level activities to achieve this.

    --Revised Functional Requirement Document (FRD)

    --Revised Functional Design Document (FDD)

    --Fit Gap Analysis Spreadsheet

    --Technical Design Document (TDD)

    --High level Test Strategy

    --Test Cases for Unit Test (UT)

    --Implementation Strategies

    --Data migration Strategy

    --Integration Strategy

    Note: This is for waterfall model, for agile things might be very different.
