Stock Transfer Linked To Sales Order

Hi All

Is there a way to link a stock transfer to the sales order? Say we create a sales order for location blue and if there's no enough stock we create a stock transfer and all the lines(or line we want) are copied instead of doing transfer from scratch.

Hi Samantha

Thank you for posting on the Dynamics 365 Business Central Forum,

You would need to look at Stockkeeping Unit (SKU) Configuration and setup Transfer to BLUE from the MAIN Location Warehouse on the BLUE SKU Card. If you use Lot for Lot for the Reordering Policy, the system will generate the linked Transfer to meet the Demand. When running Planning, the system will generate the required Planning Suggestion.
