Dynamics 365 Certification

Hello!
 
I have a background in finance and inventory management; I am currently in dynamics Business Central 365 right now. I would really like to get a few certifications to expand my knowledge in the system as it pertains to what I current do in the system. I asked this same question 6 months ago and it looks like what was recommended to me has been retired as of 12/31/25. Would love some recommendations.

    If you’re working in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central with a finance and inventory background, the Applied Skills around financial setup, inventory, and core company setup are the most directly relevant. They’re very practical and map closely to what you do day to day.

    For a broader finance perspective, MB-310 Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant can be useful, even though it’s focused on Finance & Operations rather than Business Central. Microsoft Learn is a great starting point to explore the exam content. Also, do give a try to practice questions from prep resources like CertBoosters to get a sense of what the exam actually focuses on.

    This way, you get hands-on BC knowledge first, and the MB-310 adds a broader finance perspective if you’re thinking about expanding beyond Business Central.
