How to upload file

Hello Team,

I have to create a entity with name "FileInformation" with some attribute (fileid,filename,filedata).

Now,with the help of form i have to put uploade functionality  means

i have to fill all the entity information by the upload button.How an i do this .please suggest me.

    As I understand your question:

    You have created a new entity "FileInformation" with some fields, and now you want to use the data import feature of CRM to import data into CRM.

    You can use Excel to create a datasheet. Make sure you use column headings that will be the name of the fields you want to import. Then, you can use the data import function, and map the field into the new entity.

    No,I don't want to import.I want a form through that i can upload my file,it can be PDF,Image,Document,text anything.

    Hi Rahul,

          You can use OOTB notes feature for this. Using this feature you can add notes and any type of attachment to the entity OOTB.

    but i dont konw how i can use it.

    Hi Rahul,

    You can create an html web resource and use js code to upload document to annotation entity (you can have button to upload document, make sure you enable notes for your custom entity.

    But,as per my requirement,i want to upload document from a Form.

    I have to create a entity with name "FileInformation" with some attribute (fileid,filename,filedata).

    Now,with the help of form i have to put uploade functionality  means

    I don't want to this functionality under notes and anything else

    You can use the document management capabilities of SharePoint from within Microsoft Dynamics CRM. You can store and manage documents in the context of a Microsoft Dynamics CRM record on a server that is running SharePoint and leverage the SharePoint infrastructure to share, manage and collaborate efficiently.

    Thanks for reply.But my requirement is different.

    I want to create a custom entity,that will hold all data of file.

    I am looking same functionality we found in Notes on a form.

    please suggest me.

    you can use this to add button called upload to your custom entity but still using notes functionality, but it may meet your requirement:
