Hi guys,

I have two entities PDF entity, list of holidays entity and i have editable PDF document.

I need to upload one (editable) pfd to one entity (PDF Entity), and whenever i click the pdf, it must open.

After filling the data in that editable pdf, when i click safe it must reflect to the corresponding entity (list of holidays) with what are the data i filled in the pdf.

The original pdf must be undisturbed.

Is it possible to make it? Help me guys.

    Hi,
It seems that you are looking for a way to synchronize PDF data with CRM. but, unfortunately, CRM does not provide a way to establish a database connection between PDF and CRM. Hence, this is atleast not possible using any of the CRM's OOB features at this point of time.

    Hi Saravana,

To upload and open PDF yes, it is possible.

You can use Attachment (Note) or if you integrate with SPS, then you can use Document Management, but your requirement is little bit difficult because you must click the entity and open it, which CRM as is its Out of the box doesn't support it, so you might need to create your own UI to list all of the Attachment from the PDF entity and when doucble click then open the .PDF File.

But, to send back the data after open and save, I don't think it is possible, unless you use another method, upload the PDF to somewhere else then create a batch using console app or SSIS to pick up the .PDF file and you might need to have format to translate each data back to CRM entity, in this case 'Holiday'.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks.
