Cycle Counting - Finding Cycle Count accuracy for KPI reports

Hello All

I'm looking for a way to track cycle count accuracy to report in our KPI meetings. I need to know what cycle counts had a variance associated with it over a certain period of time. I divide that with the total number of locations counted, which gives me the accuracy for any given zone.

I am currently pulling this information using the "transaction" tab filtered by "Counting"; However, I noticed that this does not differentiate between a cycle count and a spot count. How do I get D365 to filter only counting transactions that are associated with a Cycle Count Work Pool ID (which should filter out any spot counts since they are not associated with work pool ids)? This seems like very integral information for KPI reporting and I am not able to find a table join or filter that allows me to find this information.

If this is not the right place to ask this question, please direct me to the correct forum if possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!!

    Hello AccuracyReporting123,

Just an idea.  Not sure if that would meet your requirement. .To implement would need to change a few Mobile Device Menu Items.

    What about this:

    1) Use Counting History as  Source of Data:

    2) Create Counting Reason Codes for 'Cycle Counting' and 'Spot Counting'

    3) Assign a Default Reason Code 'Cycle' to the 'Cycle Count Mobile device menu item''

    4) Assign a Default Reason Code 'Spot Counting' to 'Spot Count' menu item:

In the Counting History, personnalising the page to add the relevant information to the list pane on the right (I mean "left", the other right) make it so that youy can export in Excel.  So if you want are interested in Location you can add it there.

May be other community members will have other ideas.

    Good luck!

    Thanks Danny

I have not used this page before, but this could potentially be a better option since the transaction page did not readily give me the On-hand vs Quantity counted like this export seems to. Is there a way to view the counting history by location, instead of by item?

I will play around with it and report back

    Thank you very much
