2018 Tax Table

In the past, I downloaded a PDF file at year end called TaxUpd_123116.pdf or what ever year it was for.  The PDF contained the FIT tables that could be manually input into Dynamics SL.  The TaxUpd_123117.zip does not have the FIT tables.  Any idea where to find the information that has the numbers to input directly into Dynamics SL?

    Jim,

It is my understanding that, due to the recent tax bill that passed, the IRS has not yet issued the 2018 tax tables.  From what I have found, you are to continue to use the 2017 values until which time the new tables are released.  I suspect that Microsoft will then issue the tax update like they do each year.

You are correct that there are no FET tables in the PDF and I've also verified that the Federal import file 00200FE.INT is dated 1/23/2017 in the Dec 2017 Tax Update zip file you mentioned. There is an IRS update just released https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/n1036.pdf  but I haven't seen the Microsoft version yet.

Thank you for posting this question to the forum.

Our development team did receive the federal 2018 tax withholding tables from the IRS. However, we have a handful of states that we are still waiting for their amended tax changes.

We are committed to having everything we have available (federal and state, including FICA) in our 1/31/2018 tax update download. If possible we will have it available before 1/31/2018.

The only other option is to have sites manually add the federal updates using Notice 1036 posted on the IRS website (www.irs.gov/.../n1036.pdf). This does not include FICA, but the FICA will be included in our update when it is released by the end of the month.

I hope this helps and gets you what you need.

Have a good rest of your day!!

Looks like these tax table updates should be available now.  The URLs are shown in the email below.  The first one for customersource.  The second one for partnersource.

Any idea on when update withholding tables for Louisiana will be available on customersource being they just implemented an updated change via emergency rule effective Feb 16, 2018.

There are still tax changes that have not been addressed.  Louisiana had a tax changed that was mandatory to be effective February 15, 2018 and has not been published for Dynamics SL.  The other products have published this change over 4 weeks ago.  When can the customers expect to see this?
