Hi,

Can you please let me know the step-by-step process to setup the new VAT 21% in Business central?

This is related to the version. If it is a US version, it will be more special.

Basic Tax Setup in the US Version

If it is W1 version, this is set in Vat Posting Setup.

Hi,

When I have added new VAT as 21% in VAT posting setup and trying to make the Sales order, then VAT is not calculating. Can you please help me, as why the VAT is not calculating?

Steps done during VAT setup:-

1) Setup "VAT Product posting group"

2) "VAT Business posting group" already setup was done

3) "VAT posting setup" for 21% VAT

Hi, follow below steps:

Step 1: fill the line details.

step 2: add vat bus posting group. select vat prod posting group and click on select from full list.

step 3: create new vat product posting group vat 21 (if this name is already exist then give some prefix )

step 4: select new added vat prod posting group and click on setup.

step 5: set the vat details.

step 6: select the the new created vat prod postin grp

Hi,

I have setup the VAT 21%, but while making the Sales order and taking the "VAT Bus posting group" as DOMESTIC the VAT is calculating.

But while making SO and taking the "VAT Bus posting group" as EU the VAT is not calculating.

Can you please suggest, why the VAT is not calculating while taking the "VAT Bus posting group" as EU?

Hi, it should work.. I think there is some mismatch. you please try to set vat again and check. follow the step which i provided earlier.
