Can RMS alert me when item quantity is low?

I am now running reports to see item quantities.

However, I would like for the manager to alert me (say via the email function) when an item quantity is low.

Is there anyway to have the system notify me when an item hits specific quantity?

Any input would be appreciated.

you can just make scheduled task in SQL that will check items and generate list for low items, then send email.
