Cannot change Procurement or Sales category hierarchy in "Category hierarchy role association"

Our company has developed a new product classification. We imported the classification as a new category hierarchy, but we cannot use it to replace the old hierarchy in the association role /Procurement/ and /Sales/.

When trying to edit the Procurement category hierarchy or Sales category hierarchy, the system would report error as following:

My client is facing the same issue. Did you find a solution that would allow you to change the sales category association?
