Fixed Asset depreciation journals to post in summary to the GL

Good evening
 
With about 50k fixed assets (which will increase every month), I am looking for a way of posting the depreciation journal to the General Ledger in summary.   It would need to post based on the various dimension combinations.   We are looking to minimise the volume of transactions off the depreciation runs.
 
Does anyone have any ideas around this please?

    Unfortunately, as far as I know this is standard behavior and cannot be modified.
     
     
    Hopefully other experts can give you better advice.

    you could combine your FA into fewer numbers via FA reclassification journal to reduce amount of depreciation, but for now they are set up as independent assets and won't be able to posted together.
