Auto number sequence for Batch numbers per Production Order

Hi,

I need to create a Batch Auto number while entering the Production Order, I want it on the Creation form as shown below. How it is possible please guide me.

Hello SFA,

In Inventory Management > Sett> Dimensions > Tracking Number Group, create a tracking number group that uses a Number sequence and activate it for Production Order like so:

On your Released Producti P000073, on the Manage Inventory FastTab select that new Tracking Number for Batch Number, like so:

The Batch Number will not appear on the Production Order Creaation dialog form, but after you click on <Create> you will see the new Batch Number will be created and assigned to your Production Order (FastTab Inventory DImensions).

Hi,

Maybe you can try the following:

When tracking dimension group has batch enabled then could utilize (tracking) batch number groups for auto defaulting/creating batch number when using production order using below parameter.

Danny Bilodeau, Can we Auto Create Batch number while only creating the Production order,

because Once I click on the Create of Production order than Batch no automatically generate, but is there any possibility? that we could see the batch number once I click on the new production order before click on the Create button.

I appreciate If you could provide the solution for it.

Hello SFA,

Unfortunately, that is not standard. You need to create the ProdOrder to generate an automatic batch number using the chosen numerical logic.
