I got a question regarding when the client should use the marketing platform and when to send directly from CRM. This got me interested in the limitation in CRM. Disregard the limited follow up information and formatting of emails.
So assume that we would like to use the "Send Direct Email" button on record form and use a simple Email Template. The Dialog allow me to select all records on all pages. Is this realistic with limitations of Exchange Online, spam filters, CRM limitations etc.

I have the same question (0)Be careful as this is server intensive. If you do something of that nature and it is a couple thousand emails, your users will not be very happy with the degradation on the system. That is why some of the Marketing ISVs are so popular, they take the workload off CRM for the most part.
