MR Report Groups won't generate reports in MR Viewer

Hi,

In MR, we can generate reports to MR Viewer if we print one report at a time? However, when we print a number of reports under Report Groups, the reports are only printed to Web Viewer? Is there a way to work around this? Our client only wants the reports to print in MR Viewer.

The desktop viewer is being phased out, so that eventually the Web Viewer will be your only choice. I think it was intentional that the later versions of MR generate to the Web Viewer instead of the desktop viewer.

Hi Tina,

Can you please confirm whether you have selected MR viewer as your default viewer in menu-tools-options.

Yes, the option to use MR Report Viewer as the default viewer has been selected.

Hi Tina,

The MR viewer can handle only one report at a time so if you run group of report it has to open different window for each report, whereas in web viewer its consolidate each report as viewer with name of the report where you can click and see the report. I think web viewer designed this way to handle the group report generation on one go.
