Hi Everyone,

Hope everyone is doing good,

What I want to know is that is there a way to hide certain fields from pages based on the device they are using? For ex. if a user is using the mobile app or tablet client to access BC, I want to hide certain page fields.

is this possible?

Thanks in Advance!

Best Regards,

Shanila S Jayakody

Microsoft always aim to offer the best to its users and if you need to do some play with content by hiding certain page fields for specific devices, you can consider this link for business central.

Hi, The easiest way is to customize the page separately for mobile devices.

Another way, you can get the client type that is running in the current session via AL code.

So, You can add some code to determine whether this field is visible.

    Hope this will help.

    Thanks.

You can get the device details from the devices page if any device is setup there and then on the basis of that device id you can show/hide the fields.
