Crm 2016 on premise sandbox service

Dear All,

We  have Crm 2016 onpremise.All our plugins are registered inside database.

Please let me know still Sandbox Processing Service

is being used by the plugins?

or it is used by other components?

    AFAIK the server side sync, worfklows and plugins are the ones using the sandbox service.

    Thanks Wouter,

    But if plugins are not registered in Sandbox mode then it should not execute in Sandbox isolation.Because there are severals restrictions for sandbox environment.

    Sorry, I am completely wrong :) it is the Async service, not the sandbox service for sss, wf's etc
