Report Error - Invalid open-year column

I need to run a 2011 Balance sheet and P&L.

I keep getting :The year you've selected for an open-year column is invalid for 2011

I tried to build a new report. and get the same error. There is a box at the bottom of the Quick Financial Setup screen to OPEN a year. The only option available there is 2012. I did check the posting periods and 2011 is open.

I need these like 3 hrs ago. PLEASE HELP !!!!!

Then you need to change the year type to "historical" not "open".

2011 is the year I need

Recheck your columns, make sure that the selected year for open years is the 2012 and that you are saving the form, the only reason that might cause such an error is having 2011 saved while the open year option was selected and the 2011 is infact a closed year.
