2011 client rollup 12 causing poor Outlook performance

Some of our client machines with rollup 12 are experiencing very poor Outlook performance (native Outlook functionality, moving around emails etc.), after removing the Dynamics CRM client completely, normal performance is restored.  We initially tried to roll back rollup 12 but the rollback failed continually.   Has anyone experienced this problem and what did you do to resolve it?  Now that the server bits are re-released I'm hoping that once upgraded the Outlook issues will go away.  Any thoughts?

thanks

Are you facing this issue for a test vanilla org.? If you have not tested this before please do that and update the thread. We recommend applying the same update rollup for the client and for the server but that is something which is not mandatory and cannot cause this type of performance issues

    Thanks,

    Mohammad

Mo too. If you dig into the CRM client, you may find that it hasn't upgraded the outlook client to rollup 12. Mine will not install the upgrade AT ALL.

My only thought is to warn everyone to wait for the update fixing rollup 12. They may have optimized this rollup for office 2013.........

Are we still facing this issue for the CRM 2011 Outlook client ?

Apparently, I had to rebuild some index on the back end to get this to work in Outlook. Sorry, it has been a while, but some structure had to be fixed. However, at the end of the day, I am becoming less happy with RU12. The arbitrary changes are creating issues. I will say that it runs faster in Chrome than IE9.
