Hi

Is D365 Business Central supporting the  multi country roll out with country localization features with a Single database and  multiple country with in it.

eg. A global company having business in USA and UK. I want to use both the country localization in single data base so that it would be easier for me to do the inter-company transactions and financial consolidations.

Please help me understand on how to approach it.

Thanks and regards

    No. This is not possible.

Historically NAV, now BC, uses the paradigm of one database, one localization.

Within SaaS, you could have up to max 3 Production tenant of any type. You could then create 2 production tenant : 1 UK and 1 US and manage both of them within the same Tenant Admin Center (TAC).

If you need to do reconciliation or data exchange you have to go through APIs or create your own connectors to keep data in sync.

No. Not possible. Unless the localization was created as an extension.

    Hi Duilio

Thank you for this information. This help us in managing the multi-country rollout.

    I have one more question:

You have any idea when MS is going to release localization for India in D365 Business Central

Is there any plan from MS to release localization for Bangladesh or MS wants this to be Partner supported.

Once again thanks for your help.

    Hi John Ray

Thanks a lot for this information. If the localizations already made available through MS...then what would be the procedure.

    Dear Ritwik,

no in the standard behaviour you should implement a different DB for each single localization.

Same situation - I have a need for US and Mexico in same database and ability to use inter-company.  Why would that cost an additional 3k per anum?

Because US and Mexico is running different localized versions you can not have them in the same database.

You can still do intercompany between the two production environments but you will have to do that file based.
