How do I switch from POS2009 back to RMS? I know the conversion of the DB is the problem. Has anyone successfully done this without losing any data?

MDR has no option to do so. Have your reseller to contact Retail Realm as they claim to have a converter to do it Never tried it personally as we don't sell/support POS.
Also Microsoft claims they de-activate the RMS license key when you upgrade to POS, so there might be a charge to convert back to RMS.
