Do folks know if it's possible to edit the "contact" field on the "customer" table?
 
 
The field in the Web API is here: 
 
That said, in the API customer resource, I don't see anything: 
 
In addition the customerContact API (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/business-central/dev-itpro/api-reference/v2.0/resources/dynamics_customercontact) seems to be more generally related to the companyNumber field on the person contact - not the contact field on the customer. 
 
Any ideas on this front? Is custom API the only option?

    Hello,
     
    You can’t edit the Customer.Contact field through the standard Business Central AP, it’s not exposed in the customer (v2.0) endpoint. You can only change it in the UI or through a custom API/page extension that includes this field.
