I am facing a issue while data migration where I am seeing that duplicate records created in MS CRM Online. Scenarios are as below which we as a team tried.
Scenario 1:
We tried with custom code using "ExecuteMultiple" with a single thread to push records in MS CRM. Here we found surprising results. We inserted 12,00,000 records and found that only 6,50,000 records were created and rest 6,00,000 records were duplicated. Remaining 5,50,000 customers were totally missing.
Scenario 2:
We used a third party tool for data migration with Upsert method in it. For the first batch of 1,00,000 records which we inserted we found that 292 records were duplicated. Surprisingly i found that for rest 9,00,000 records no duplicates were created. But with such uncharacteristic behaviour, how can we rely on MS CRM Online services.
Scenario 3:
Can anyone let us know that how much data can MS CRM (2015) online can handle. How much impact it will have for data migration and also how it will impact performance with such large data volumes.
