Will virtual tables ever become sortable/filterable?

The documentation for Virtual Entities/Tables says /Although you can add virtual table columns as a lookup on a grid or other UI views, you cannot filter or sort based on this virtual table lookup column./

What's the best way of finding out if that might change in the future? I know there are release schedule/plans but (being a bit of a novice at this) I haven't got a clue where to look. Is the best way to keep checking back to the documentation and see if it changes?

Or is there somewhere I can ask to find out if there are any plans to make them filterable/sortable in the future?

Any advice much appreciated.

Currently, Microsoft has no plans related to this improvement.

Depending upon the business justification and number of votes, Microsoft may consider this in the upcoming releases.
