Change date format in Dynamics 365 Online

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hi, the current date format is something like mm/dd/yyyy and I would like to turn it into dd/mm/yyyy or something similar, to make every date in the CRM appear in the new format.
I tried changing this in the settings>administration>System Settings, but the dates didn't change at all in the CRM, even if I changed the format in the settings.

Does anyone have a solution?

I'm not an admin, just an end user. All the options I have are:

    Hi,

you have to change it globally first like below screenshot.

Note: For Using these will not reflect the data you can have to change personal Options too . Personal Option is for user specific . User have to set manually for their side.

    Hi Vincent,

Refer the below thread- "Changing the format in the System Settings area does not change the formats used by the existing users--changes only apply to new user accounts created subsequently.  Users can change their own display form in the Personal Options area."

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Vincent,

once you have changed it globally.

you also want to check once under your personal options. from settings near to your picture/name in crm and click on options.
