Opportunity Interaction needs interaction template with attachment

Hi All

I'm entering interactions for opportunities and somehow I need to allocate a template with a PREDEFINED attachment, or I get the below error

interaction-log-attach.jpg

What is the logic behind this setting as we don't want a predefined attachment, ideally if required we would like to attach a doc to the interaction itself not the template.

I have the same question (0)

    Hello,

If you select correspondence type = hard copy or Email or Fax, you need to select an interaction that has an attachment associated with it. This will be used for the body of the hard copy / email or fax. If you leave the correspondence type to blank, you will not need to select an interaction type with an attachment.

    Thanks.
