Transfer Order - CW Items Pick less than Picking List QTY

Hi,

I'm the end user of D365FO, the system would just GO LIVE on this Tuesday and we are facing some issues. One scenario is as below.

We create a Transfer Order with one line CW QTY 50 and QTY 30.

Then we general the picking list, and do the picking list the registration, and we release the picked CW QTY is 48 / QTY 29.

We were able to pick that, but we get a error message when we try to ship it. The message says "The quantity cannot be reduced. The number of inventory transaction on order is is too low because the quantity or part of it is reference by an output order or a production order or is marked against other transactions".

Hi AaronChen,

Do you check if there is the quanlity order generate?

Could you display the screenshot of the onhand transactions?

Thanks Matt, Sorry for the late response.

There's no quality order generated. Please see below screenshot.

We created a Transfer Order for a CW item.

Then we generate the picking list based on Transfer Order Quantity

We entering the correct quantity when doing the Picking List Registration, which could be different then the Picking List Quantity, could be higher or lower (BTW, some the fields are MOD)

We try to Close the Transfer Order by tick the Close field on the Ship Transfer Order process.

It end up with an error message as below screenshot.

However, if I ship Transfer order without tick the Close box, then it could finish the Transaction., but the Transfer Order is still saying Created, how can I end this Transfer Order.

And I cannot use cancel Remainder quantity, as the system will throw me with another error message.
