I am used to using the D365 IMport wizard. Generally it does a great job in Data mapping (Like option sets). But what do we use when we have just "CDS". Power query?

Thanks Peter and I got that. I am very familiar with the Import Wizard that is Dynamics CE (CRM) That is what I am looking for in CDS> I use Power Query. That seem to be the best tool. How ever it is NOT doing the simple job of automatically casting the data type and it is NOT recognizing or creating Option sets. I am sure I can do that all through POwer Query. I just want to know what the OFFICAL party line is for Rapid ETL's and not simple CSV conversion. That i Have down. I will keep digging. Do you know how to use the Power Query tool to automatically create OPTION SETS?
Hey Ray.
You should be able to use a slightly different approach. You should be able to download a sample file and fill the required columns. Then, by going to powerapps instance and selecting the entity, you can import the excel/CSV file. You have this process documented on docs.microsoft.com/.../data-platform-import-export
