Customized bar code integration with business central

Hi all,

We are currently using  zebra scanner for scanning the barcodes. We want to integrate Barcode scanning functionality with business central. There are quite a few third party applications to work with in Business Central but are quite expensive for us. Is there any way if we can customize the barcode scanning requirement?
