Intercompany with different environment

Hello, Does anyone have experience in intercompany posting between 2 companies in different environments?
 
We have been trying to get two companies to send intercompany transactions to each other with only partial success. We have multiple environments available (Sandbox and Production) and have been trying different combinations but not able to get it to work.
 
We have followed Microsoft's instructions on setting up intercompany across different environments (e.g. app registration in Azure etc. and Entra setup in Business Central) and also followed some of the postings by fellow community members (e.g. https://yzhums.com/42820/) to no avail.
 
At best, the transactions flow from Company A (Environment A) to Company B (Environment B) but not vice versa. There are also times when transactions from either side dont make it across. They do go out successfully from Outbox of source company but dont make it to the Inbox of the destination company.
 
Is there some way to troubleshoot this? i.e. to find out where the missing transactions are? And more importantly is there a fix for it? Thanks,

    Can you check if the Entra applications have the same permissions?
    It should be:

    Just checking if someone has faced this issue ? We are inclined to think that there is some bug in this functionality (across environment intercompany). Would perhaps someone from Microsoft Support like to comment on this? Thanks,

    we have checked Inbox/Outbox (not the Handled Inbox/Outbox) no transaction presents..

    Have you checked all 4 inboxes/outboxes for the missing transactions. In the sending company you can check:
     
    • Intercompany Outbox Transactions
    • Handled Intercompany Outbox Transactions
     
    And in the receiving company you can check:
     
    • Intercompany Inbox Transactions
    • Handled Intercompany Inbox Transactions
     
    If transactions are missing perhaps they are stuck with an error in the Inbox/Outbox (not the Handled Inbox/Outbox)
