Business Central error linking bank account to American Express

Our team can link bank accounts from Business Central to all of our various banks in Canada.   We are, however, having an issue linking a bank account in Business Central to American Express - for two accounts, one in CAD$, one in USD$, and both linked to our Canadian company in Business Central.

I can validate that we can login in with our credentials on the American Express site for both accounts, and we can download transaction details manually.

Our issue is strictly with linking the bank account within Business Central to American Express.

We are getting the following error:

I have seen various posts on deleting the account in Business Central and/or creating a new account and then linking it up - we've tried these actions to no avail.

Anyone seen this issue before and know the resolution?

Thanks!

    Hi Ashley,

Please create a support ticket and we'll get a ticket created with Yodlee to review.  It's possible that there was a change with Amex's online site that Yodlee has to make a change on their side, so the two can sync up.  Thanks.

Thank you Brian.  Our consulting partner has entered a ticket, and I have forwarded your response to my inquiry so they know that is the recommended action.  I appreciate the quick response!

    Hi Ashley,

Perfect.  Just a heads up, you will need to provide this info to your partner.  We'll end up asking for it eventually.

    1. Consumer Name – This is found in the Envestnet Yodlee Bank Feed Service Setup page

    2. Bank Account: XXXX last 4 digits of the bank having issues

    3. Bank Login/URL....exact URL you use when you login to AMEX's online site and enter your login information.

    Thanks.

    Hi All,

We are having the same error with a client trying to link to CitiBank.  This is a new implementation, however, they were linked to all their accounts in one company (a template company).

We had to unlink and delete the bank accounts to create them in each individual company.

First, when we tried to link the accounts again, The error said Bank account already linked.

I Reset Yodlee by disabling, changing the bank feed service, changing back and enabling.

Now they are encountering the error above.

If MS resolved this issue, we would love to know how without having to submit our own ticket.

    Thanks

    Ashley,

Has Microsoft solved this for you? This has occurred many times for many users. This is all Yodlee but we need to start with Microsoft to engage them as Yodlee will not work directly with User or Partner. Any Updates?  I can tell you I played around uninstalling extension, reinstalling, delinking, relinking and sometimes it works but mostly fails.

    Give us an update.

    Thanks,

    Steve
