License per localisation (On-Prem)

Hi all, 
We have a prospect who has several companies in different countries and therefore they will have different on-prem databases (since Business Central does not allow for multiple localisations (companies) in the same database). 
Does this mean that this customer has to buy a different license per localisation? also considering that each (on-prem) license covers different object numbers and therefore different localisations? 
 
Any information would be appreciated.

    Regarding licensing, yes, in this scenario, the customer would likely need to purchase a separate license for each localization they require. Each on-premises license for Business Central covers a specific number of objects, and these objects are tied to specific localizations. Therefore, if the customer needs multiple localizations to accommodate their various companies in different countries, they would need to purchase separate licenses for each localization.
     
    I would recommend please consult with the Partner first.

    Nitin is right. This is one of the reasons why the On-Pre version is not recommended now. If it is a SaaS version, just purchase another production environment.
    In addition, if the localization package is handled by local partners, such as Japan, South Korea and other regions, you will also need to ask partners other than Microsoft to purchase the localization package.
