Is there any way where we can define which work flow should execute first and the next like rank in plugins?

Is there something that can be done out for out of the box workflow that can be synchronous in 2013.

OOB the only way you can define the sequence is based on your trigger field for e.g.
On create run workflow 1
After, record is saved display field a and trigger workflow 2 on that and so on
