Hi Guys,

For some reason all the accounts and contacts from Dynamics CRM have appeared on my Iphone phone book contacts.

I am using a standard Iphone emails app, not Outlook app.

Could you please help how to remove these?

Thanks

    Hello,

Do you have Server Synchronization enabled for your inbox? On Server Synchronization there is also an option to synchronize contacts (in addition to emails)

There is unfortunately no easy way to unsync contacts (or emails, or appointments) once they've been synced to a device. I'm afraid you will have to delete them manually from your iPhone.

    Hi,

THanks for your help. Do you mean server synchronization on CRM or on phone emails app?

    THanks

    Hello,

I'm referring to Server Synchronization from the Dynamics 365 (CRM) perspective.

This will sync your contacts from Dynamics into your contacts in Exchange, which will in turn sync them to your phone.

    Thanks,

Would you be able to give me some instructions on how to turn this off please?

    Thanks

    To configure Server Synchronization:

    1. Go into the Settings area and select 'Email Configuration'

    2. Select 'Mailboxes'

    3. Open the mailbox record for yourself
    4. At the bottom of the pop-up you'll see a section called 'Synchronization Method' and an option for 'Appointments, Contacts and Tasks'
Turn this one off by setting it to 'None'

    5. Click [Save and Close] to confirm

    Hi,

I know this is an old thread, but just a question (albeit with a seemingly obvious answer)- if you change the 'Appointments, Contacts and Tasks' to none - I am assuming that along with the desired outcome of not syncing contacts to your phone, it would also mean that it does not sync appointments or tasks?

That is correct jeska_amba , there is only one option that includes all 3: Appointments, Contacts and Tasks.
You can either turn all of them on or turn all of them off. Only email sync (in and out) are separate configurable options

    Hello Michel,

Firstly sorry for the late ask. I have a requirement where CRM contacts are not appearing in the default iOS contacts app that comes on iPhones. We can see the CRM contacts in the D365 mobile app and want to see the same contacts in the Default iOS contacts app. How can I achieve this, can you give some detailed info.
