Hi:
Is it possible to test workflow approvals in a Business Central sandbox with only one User ID who will act as both submitter and approver?
Thanks!
John
Hi John,
For testing workflow minimum two user accounts are required.
If your purpose of using sandbox is for non production/commercial, I suggest you to join office 365 developer program (developer.microsoft.com/.../dev-program), this gives you options to create your own office 365 domain i.e you can create limited no. of email id's under the newly created O365 domain. Then using those domain id (ends with .onmicrosoft.com) email subscribe to BC. you can create more than one users in O365 and give those user necessary permission in BC. You can refer this below link as well. Hope it helps.

hi,
In my opinion without an windows user name you cannot even login into BC of the same environment and so cannot test approval flow.
Hi Kelvin:
I figured that that's the case. I'd love to create an additional user. Bur, I don't "have" an additional Windows email address to use for creating a new user. As an admin, can I create a new BC user without a new email address?
In my experience, I won't work. I normally create minimum 2 seperate users to test out the workflow function.
Regards,
Kelvin Hew
