CRM 2011 ISO

Does anyone know where to download the CRM 2011 ISO other than MSDN? You would figure Customer Source customers who purchased CRM 2011 access with software assurance would have access to this.

I do not have access to MSDN.

I also don't want to install from the executable that is available. I want to do an offline install of the product and I would rather have an ISO instead of jumping through hoops creating sub-directories.

    Michael,

If your client has purchased CRM they should go to the volume licensing site and login. They will be able to download the software there. They will definitely need to do that as their license key will be in the download with one of the files. That is the only place for them to get their license.

I am the client. I have access to Customer Source. That is where my License Key is. It also offers the download for CRM 2011 but its the executable.

Are you saying I should have a Volume Licensing account with my CRM purchase as well and my license key will be there as well? I do have Volume Licensing for Windows Server 2008 but I don't see anywhere to link my CRM account with a VL account.

    Michael,

You should also have a volume licensing access and it should include the CRM software. Did you buy this through a partner via volume licensing or from a partner that bought it from Microsoft Business Services the way the Dynamics ERP packages are bought?

The partner you bought the software from should be able to help you out with getting this answered.

If you have the executable use a free software application like PowerISO to create an ISO from the executable.

    Hi Michael,

The Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 trial executable could be used for your install files.

If you enter in your product key during or after the installation, it will update to the full version and not expire after 30 days.

Here is the link - www.microsoft.com/.../details.aspx

    Thanks,

    Al Ericson
