Can anyone solve my doubt in solomon object model?

Next method is used for Microsoft Dynamics SL data level.can we possible to use New method instead of Next method in Solomon data level.

New & Next do different things don't they?

As far as I know, Next navigates to the next record. It is the equivalent of a user clicking on the Next button.

It takes you to a record that already exists. (Unless you try to navigate beyond the last record.)

New creates a new (empty) record.

It is the equivalent of a user clicking on the New button.

I haven't done a lot of object model work, but that is my understanding.
