Which entity holds the sourcing info of sales order line?

Hi Guys,

Quite a straight forward question, but I cannot seem to find the entity in which the sales order line sourcing info can be found.

On the form it's in Sales Order Line Details, but the info cannot be found in the Sales Order Line Entity.

Spent quite some time googling for the answer, but without any luck.

Hope you guys can help me out .

Thanks in advance,

I have the same question (0)

In general it's quick to find this info if you have access to a D365FO dev system. Just right click any object in AOT and select "Find References".

By looking at the cross references, these fields are not exposed via any out of the box data entity. In Sales order import it sets default values to them in method insertEntityDataSource of SalesOrderLineV2Entity.

If you want to export the info, you could add the fields to the entity via an extension. Not sure how it would work for import because of the code mentioned above.

    Hi William van de Haterd,

These fields are not present in the OOB entity for sales order lines - SalesOrderLineV2Entity. You can, however, create an extension for this entity and can add these fields to the extension.

What is your requirement here? I can see that there is logic for these fields getting updated with default values when inserting new records.

    Hi William,

Depending on the size of your data and what you want to use it for you could just download the full SO Line table using the table browser.

    <EnvURL>/?mi=SysTableBrowser&TableName=SalesLine&cmp=<LegalEntity>&lng=en-gb

    This contains all fields.
