Hi experts,

I hope you all are doing well.

I'm trying to update some records in VAT Entry Table using following piece of code.

This code is working fine on premises but on cloud I faced following error:

current permissions prevented the action. (TableData VAT Entry Modify: <ExtName>)

Can anyone please tell me is there any direct or indirect way to modify a VAT Entry record on cloud. Answers will be highly appreciated.

Thanks for reading.

    Hi Hussnain Javed,

    i check it in the existing page but its not possible to modify the data in existing page.
    so you need to create new Separate page so it will work.

    Yes if you are trying to put it in Extended objects, it will not work.

    I will suggest you move your modification code in a separate objects like in codeunit and put the permission in that codeunit.

    Thanks.

    Hi Nitin,

    Thanks for reply.

    It's not working and showing an error that the property "Permissions" can not be customized.

    Hi,

    Go to top and add the following

    Permissions = tabledata "VAT Entry" = rim;

    Thanks
