How to know useful life of an item in Nav/BC

Hello, 

Is it possible to know the useful life of an item in Nav or BC?

For example, I have used an item A for 2 consecutive years. In navision is there any place which indicates the number of years an item has been used?

Thanks to clarify me on this.
