Remove default control from list

Hi All,

Is it possible to disable the read-only default control of a list? We're using the new power apps read only control on a list and want to disable the "Allow range selection" as we don't want users to be able to copy chunks of data, however the default control has this enabled and we're unable to disable it?

Thank you,

I have the same question (0)

    Hi AidanM,

As of April 2022, the Power Apps read-only grid control is the default control for all read-only views and subgrids.

You can opt your organization out of the automatic switch to this grid by following the steps below.

1.Go to the Power Platform Admin Center > Environments > Features.

2.Turn off the Enable the modern read-only grid experience option in the Grids and views section.

    Hi Leah,

    Thank you for your help.

Is there any way to disable "Allow range selection" on the default control? As there isn't any way to turn this off for the default control.

With the current default control users are able select multiple selections and copy the data out of our Dynamics platform which we want to disable for security.

    Thanks,

Hi, I have this question as well.

When I select No for 'Allow range selection', users are still able to select the checkboxes/checkmarks beside items.

How do we disable that, so that users can't 'select' items, but can only click through to lookups and otherwise view a read-only view of the subgrid?

I thought that was what selecting No for 'Allow range selection' was supposed to allow us to disable...
