My Deployment is as follows:
CRM Dynamics 365 V 9 Update 18 On-Prem
Sharepoint 2019 On-Prem
Using Integration to store files on Sharepoint.
New Edge install with no settings being pushed to it.
In IE 11 Browser
On CRM: When clicking on a attached office document, the native app will load the file. I can make changes and it will save properly back into the SharePoint document location. Same file opens directly from the Sharepoint url as well.
In new Chromium based edge Browser
Clicking the same file downloads file to the local download location instead. If the file is clicked through the Sharepoint site, it will load the native app as it did with IE11.
I have tried the compatiblity mode within Edge with no change.
Is there something I am missing?
We are expecting the same behavior in Edge as we got in IE11.
