Request page save filters on preview

ReportReport

Hi,

I ran into an issue where the filters of my report request page get saved when pressing "Print" and running the report again. They don't seem to get saved when you press "preview" and run the report again. Is there any reason behind this behavior because it works in NAV 2016 and other versions. I know you can save custom filters with report settings but that won't work for me because we need to get the value of the last report number used. Any help will be appreciated.

I have the same question (0)

Have you set the SaveValues= true; on the request page in the report code?

If that is set even a preview should save the values.

And if the preview button shows preview and close it is a hint that the SaveValues is not set or set to false.

Yes  SavesValues is set to true. It only actually saves when printing no when doing a preview. Try it yourself.

    That was really annoying.

Hi, This is a bit strange, can you find your filters in Report Settings?

If not, create one manually if it will meet your needs.
