How to generate list of GL accounts within a Category?

I am trying to generate a list of all GL accounts within a category. For example, I want to look at the entire list of accounts we have mapped to the "COGS" and "SG&A" categories. Does anyone know a quick way to do this? Thanks.

    Accounts SmartList - sort by Account Category Number (which is actually Account Category name).

     Well Justin

     

    Select Microsoft dynamics GP menu then select smart list. In smart list select Financial then accounts after clicking account select a tab menu of smart list search and define criteria of searching.

     Example

      Column Name                                        Filter                                 Value

      Account Category Number                    is equal to                            Cost of goods sold

     

     

    and then save it to Dynamics Favorites.
