Hi Experts,
I am trying to explore asset management module in D365FO where i am facing error of "Create assetField 'Asset type' must be filled in."
Can any one help us in resolving this error.

You don't mention where you're adding the asset from but I'll assume it's from the all assets screen. The asset type tells what kind of equipment you are adding i.e. a forklift, a compressor etc.. The asset types are setup under Asset Management ->Setup -> Asset Types -> Asset Types.
When you add an asset from the all assets screen on the create asset screen there is an asset type you need to fill in. I suspect you may be adding these from somewhere else let me know if that is the case and I'll try and help you with the screen you're adding from.
